About the Play

New Year! New Me! follows Maya, a young girl navigating friendships, peer pressure, rumors, and the fear of being rejected. When a conflict with a classmate threatens to turn into a fight, Maya receives unexpected visits from three mysterious New Year's spirits—Past, Present, and Future.

Through humor, reflection, and surprising discoveries, Maya learns that growing up isn't about fitting in or proving yourself to others. It's about making choices, finding your voice, and becoming the person you want to be.

A new year. New choices. A chance to become a better you!
